The IPL 2024 is off to a an exciting start as Chennai Super Kings are going head-to-head against Royal Challengers Bangalore at the iconic Chepauk. RCB won the toss and decided to bat first but lost their way after a bright start from Faf du Plessis and were reduced to 78-5 in the 12th over. However, it was then that the duo of Anuj Rawat and Dinesh Karthik go together and staged a stunning fightback for RCB.

They unleashed their might at the death and one of those overs, the 18th over costed 25 to CSK as Tushar Deshpande was hammered all over the park. Three sixes were hit in that over with one coming off the bat of Dinesh Karthik and rest from the blade of young Anuj Rawat. The left-handed batter hit a boundary as well as RCB charged back into the game.

The first ball was a shortish one from Deshpande which was powered straight down the ground by Dinesh Karthik. Anuj Rawat then whipped a fullish delivery off the middle stump line over deep square leg while the third six was hammered off the full toss over long on. 

RCB eventually scored 173 in their 20 overs and have staged a good fightback after RCB seemed like losing their way in the middle overs.
