Despite registering a failure with the bat, ace Australian all-rounder Glenn Maxwell shone brightly as a fielder, as he took a sensational catch to get rid of Ajinkya Rahane. 

The incident occurred in the eleventh over when RCB skipper Faf du Plessis brought Cameron Green in pursuit of a breakthrough. His move worked wonders, as the tall pacer dismissed Rahane, who was looking set in the middle. 

After conceding a six off his first ball, Green bowled a well-directed shot ball, prompting Rahane to play a pull shot. The veteran Indian batter fell in the trap, hitting it in the air towards the mid wicket. 

However, as the ball was travelling fast towards the boundary, Glenn Maxwell, stationed at deep square leg, timed his jump to perfection, holding on to a spectacular catch. 

Before getting out, Rahane struck 27 runs off 19 balls with the help of two glorious sixes. His departure brought Shivam Dube into the middle, as he came as CSK's impact player in this match. 

RCB have pulled things back with Rahane's wicket, keeping the hosts under the pump. As of writing, CSK are 110 for four in 12.3 overs, with Dube batting on six at one end.
