There are numerous incidences in cricketing history when fans have crossed all limits to get a glimpse of their heroes while some illegally enter the playing field and other places to meet their stars in the most unique fashion. Hero worshipping has been common in India, with stars like Sachin Tendulkar, MS Dhoni, Virat Kohli, and Rohit Sharma receiving massive love from fans.

Something similar was on display during the second T20I between India and Afghanistan in Indore, where a fan jumped over the fence while also getting past the security forces to meet Kohli, who was fielding closer to the boundary line.

As soon as he got near the right-hander, he tried hugging his idol Kohli, who also hugged him back, giving the young fan a lifelong memory.

This is not the first time it has happened and indeed not the last time, considering the never-ending affection for Indian players from time to time.

Regarding the game, Afghanistan batted first and posted 172 on the board with the help of Gulbadin Naib's 57, who fought his way with five fours and four sixes. In reply, India had a blistering second half as they finished the game inside 16 overs, with Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shivam Dube both scoring stylish half-centuries.

Meanwhile, Kohli also played a fine hand with 29 off just 16 deliveries with five fours to his name as India won the game by six wickets.
