Former Indian World Cup-winning skipper and current Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain, MS Dhoni, is among the most respectable names in the cricketing industry, as even the opponents laud him for his game awareness.

Joining the wagon is his former CSK teammate Faf du Plessis, who, during the captains' meet at the sidelines of the SA20 League, praised Dhoni for being the calmest under pressure.

Speaking with the likes of Kieran Pollard and Graeme Smith present in the room, du Plessis, who will lead CSK's sister franchise Joburg Super Kings (JSK) in the league, commented that being under skipper Dhoni and coach Stephen Fleming was his most significant learning curve in the career as he observed things from a distance.

"My biggest learning curve probably was being under Dhoni & Fleming - I observed a lot, I was very lucky to play under Dhoni, he was very calm in all situations."

To the unversed, du Plessis has been an ardent supporter of the Super Kings family as he is also the skipper of Texas Super Kings (TSK) in Major League Cricket.

However, his immediate task is to lead Joburg to their maiden SA20 title with the first match of the season to be played between defending champions SunRisers Eastern Cape (SEC) and JSK on 10th January.
