In the ongoing U19 Asia Cup match between India and Japan, the Boys In Blue are heading towards a comfortable win. India suffered a defeat in their opening game against Pakistan and have bounced back strongly.

The batters shone against Japan as skipper Mohammed Amaan led from the front and smashed a century. Meanwhile, eyes were on 13-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who failed against Pakistan.

Vaibhav Impresses Critics With Stylish Drives

Vaibhav rose to fame after Rajasthan Royals bought him for a whopping 1.10 crores. However, Vaibhav had a failed outing again and scored just run-a-ball 23. Nonetheless, he smashed three fours and a solitary six, which hinted at the potential he posses to bud into a successful cricketer.

Talking about the match, India put 339 runs on the board after 50 overs. At the time of writing this article, Japan is 53/2 after 17 overs and trail heavily in this match.

Vaibhav Performing Under Heavy Criticism

Ever sine Vaibhav hogged the internet, there have been murmurs about his age. Several fans have accused him of age-fraud and it has impacted the southpaw. The 13-year-old was also trolled for his IPL fees following the failure against Pakistan.

Even against Japan, Suryavanshi got off to a great start but failed to find a footing and couldn't convert the start into a big score. It is worth noting that after this match, India will have just one game left after this match in the group stage.
