Vaibhav Suryavanshi in training (Source: @SportsCulture24/X.com)
Vaibhav Suryavanshi is just 13-year-old, but the kid already has an IPL contract to his name and recently delivered some big performances in the U19 Asia Cup. He is known for his aggressive batting and played some sparkling knocks for Bihar in Vijay Hazare Trophy 2024-25.
The left-handed batter is now gearing up for tougher challenges ahead and has been spotted practicing in Rajasthan Royals training facilities. In the video that is going viral, Vaibhav Suryavanshi is seen hitting some big shots in his usual flair and by the looks of it, the timing seems immaculate.
Vaibhav Suryavanshi Impresses With His Power-Game
The Southpaw is seen playing pull shots, slog-sweep and also unleashed a big hit down the ground to the leg-spinner who looked short of ideas against the 13-year-old. Vaibhav Suryavanshi surely has lot of power in his shots and can be a devastating opening batter once he finds his groove.
It would be interesting to see if he can make it to the playing XI of Rajasthan Royals at the age of just 13, and if he does that it would be a huge achievement. Rajasthan Royals are likely to go with Sanju Samson and Yashasvi Jaiswal as openers in the next season with Buttler no longer part of their squad. However, if Vaibhav continues to show his power in training, the management might be forced to give him a chance, and there could be a shuffle in Rajasthan Royals' batting line-up.
