It has been exactly a month since the IPL 2025 mega-auction got over. In the past month, several under-rated stars, who were bought at their base price, has shone and made a name for themselves in various tournaments. Meanwhile, this article will shed light on three such players who shone after the auction in the last one month.
1. Vaibhav Suryavanshi
The 13-year-old became an overnight sensation after Rajasthan Royals bought him for 1.1 crore at the IPL 2025 mega-auction. Following his buy, Suryavanshi featured in the U-19 Asia Cup 2024, where he shone with the bat and made other teams regret not going after him in the auction.
In the U-19 Asia Cup 2024, Suryavanshi scored two-fifty plus scores against UAE and Sri Lanka. In the latest events, he is also playing in the Vijay Hazare Trophy but has faltered with the bat.
2. Suryansh Shedge
The Mumbai batter, who was roped in by Punjab Kings at a base price of 30 lakhs, had a brilliant Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy and rose to fame after his brilliant knock in the final to help Mumbai seal the win over Madhya Pradesh.
He played nine innings and scored 131 runs, averaging 43. The stats do not do justice to his performance, as he came to bat late down the order and faced only a few balls.
Talking about his heroics in the SMAT final, Shedge played a valuable knock of 36 (15), under crunch, where Mumbai were on the brink of a collapse and a defeat.
3. Vipraj Nigam
Delhi Capitals roped in Nigam for 50 lakhs in IPL 2025 mega-auction. The uncapped star failed to grab any eyeballs as the fans weren't much aware of his achievements. However, he introduced himself in style against Andhra Pradesh, when he overpowered Rinku Singh.
In UP's clash against Andhra Pradesh, Nigam scored a brilliant 27 (8), where he guided UP to a brilliant win and helped his side qualify for the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy quarter-finals.
