In an interesting incident, a batter was dismissed in the most bizarre fashion as the bowler took an easy catch after the ball was deflected off the non-striker's body.

The incident took place during Yorkshire's 2nd XI's T20 clash against Somerset's 2nd XI. Yorkshire's Ben Cliff bowled, dismissing Somerset's Ned Leonard.

The incident occurred during the 19th over of Somerset's innings when they had already posted a respectable total.

Cliff, who earlier got the prized scalps of George Thomas and Finley Hill, returned to jolt Somerset with the wicket of Leonard.

From over the wicket, Cliff bowled a full-length delivery into Leonard's body when the batter tried to make room for himself.

As he got cramped for room, Leonard hit it straight to Kasey Aldridge, who was at the non-striker's end.

Although Aldridge tried to move away from the line of the ball, he was hit on his back. As a result, the ball deflected off his body and went straight to Cliff, who took a simple catch.

After Somerset posted 191 runs on the board, Yorkshire 2nd XI got bowled out for a paltry 125-run total, losing the game by 66 runs.
