After Gloucestershire won the toss and opted to bowl, Somerset's opening batter, Tom Banton, played a pivotal role in their innings.

Tom Banton batted for the full 20 overs, scoring a crucial 77 runs off 46 balls, helping Somerset post a competitive total of 194/6. Ben Green also contributed significantly with a quick-fire 47 runs towards the end of the innings.
