In a thrilling ODI series decider between Australia and South Africa's women's cricket team, Tahlia McGrath, the talented veteran all-rounder, produced a remarkable display of skill and determination, weaving magic with the ball to jolt the Proteas with dual wickets in an over to dismantle their chase.

Australia posted a winning total of 277 runs on board at the end of the first innings of the third and final ODI of the ongoing three-game series between the two dominant nations.

Beth Mooney's 82 runs knock played a crucial role as Aussie kicked off the chase as favorites. However, Tazmin Brits took over the responsibility to put up a brave fight for her team and activated attacking mode to put the hosts under pressure.

Just when Brits was looking dangerous from one end, Tahlia McGrath produced the much-needed breakthrough. She bowled a length delivery as Brits once again launched a big hit. However, Alana King made a swift run to pluck the sliding catch at deep mid-wicket to bring a sense of relief to the Aussie camp.

On the final delivery of the same over, McGrath kept her length the same but changed the line to the middle stump. The new batter on the crease, Marizanne Kapp, tried to hit it over the square leg boundary but couldn't get the necessary elevation due to a lack of bounce. Kapp was sent back on a duck as Australia claimed the driver's seat in the series decider.

McGrath's remarkable feat of jolting the Proteas twice in an over swung the momentum firmly in Australia's favor and turned the tide of the match.

Unfortunately, amid an exciting contest, rain played spoilsport and the numbers have been revised. It could be a blessing in disguise for South Africa, given they bat mindfully from hereon. The series is at stake, and both sides will fight till the end to claim a victory.
