Suryakumar Yadav is the number 1 T20I batter in the world and when he came out to bat against Ireland with the match almost done and dusted, it was expected that he will finish off the match. However, he could not do that and Benjamin White got the better of him when India needed just six runs to win.

It was the 12th over of India's innings and Benjamin White tossed it up on the off-stump line. Suryakumar Yadav went for a big slog-sweep as he tried to finish off the chase with a six in a typical MS Dhoni style, but got a huge top-edge and the ball went high in the air towards deep mid-wicket. 

George Dockrell there, settled under the ball nicely and took an easy catch as SKY walked off the field disappointed on two.

Earlier, Rohit Sharma won the toss and decided to bowl first on a pitch that was expected to assist pacers. Indian bowlers were upto the task and Ireland were bowled out for just 96 with Indian pacers picking eight wickets between them. 

In reply, India lost Virat Kohli early, but Rohit Sharma batted well and scored 52 before he got retired hurt and then Pant finished off the chase in the 13th over.
