Rohit Sharma and his effortless hitting is a sight to behold for any cricket lover and they were all treated with one of those trademark hits in India's first T20 World Cup 2024 match against Ireland in New York.

India first bundled out Ireland for just 96 after electing to bowl first and Rohit started well with the bat on a tricky pitch despite losing Virat Kohli early. The six came on the final delivery of the second over when Joshua Little bowled a full toss on the middle-stump line. Rohit Sharma stayed still and powered it over long on with ease to make his intentions clear.

In the next over, Virat Kohli departed, but Rohit was not in the mood to throw it away easily and build a good partnership with Rishabh Pant.
