It's Rohit Sharma's world and we are living in it and there's absolutely no denying it as he schooled Joshua Little with his back-to-back power-packed maximums during the India vs Ireland clash at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York on Wednesday.

During the 9th over, Little first bowled a short ball to Rohit almost as if he wanted him to punish him. His mistake of banging it short outside the line of the off stump was too costly as Rohit Sharma was very quick to get into the position and pummel the pull over the backward square leg fence for a biggie.

Then on the very next ball, he again bowled a short ball and the result was the same. Rohit swiveled and pulled it over the fine leg fence for another maximum. It was evident that Rohit Sharma was not wanting to waste any chance at completing the game soon. Soon after this he smashed a fifty in India's tournament opener at the T20 World Cup 2024, hopefully setting the tone for the entire season.

At the time of writing, India are at 76/1 with Rohit Sharma and Rishabh Pant leading the onslaught.
