Shubman Gill produced a thrilling show against Bangladesh on Friday in India's final Super Four clash of the Asia Cup 2023, which took place at R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. Despite losing Rohit Sharma early, the stylish opening batsman batted with full control and went on to score his ninth ODI fifty.

More significantly, the manner in which Gill got to his personal milestone stole the show. He danced down the track to get close to Mahedi Hasan’s off-spin that pitched at good length region, and sent it over cow corner elegantly for a huge six.



Till the time of writing, Gill has been batting aggressively throughout his stay in the middle. At this point, the 24-year-old has reached 65 off 82 balls, with the help of six fours and two stylish sixes.
