[Watch] Shubman Gill Reacts To KL Rahul's Gigantic Six Outside Stadium In Indore

Indian skipper KL Rahul bashed 52 quick runs against Australia in the second ODI of their three-match series in Indore. The cricketer clubbed three boundaries and three big sixes in his innings, with one of his maximums landing even outside the Holkar Stadium.

Rahul’s colossal hit against Cameron Green out of the ground even captivated his batting partner Shubman Gill. Gill, who himself was batting at 104 at the time, reacted to his skipper’s big hit as Team India motored along in the innings with their calculated acceleration.

Shubman Gill reacts to KL Rahul’s maximum

After losing opening partner Ruturaj Gaikwad early in the innings, Shubman Gill formed a 200-run second-wicket stand with Shreyas Iyer. Both cricketers plundered identical hundreds in their partnership, and set up a concrete foundation of a huge total for their side.

Iyer’s dismissal at 216-2 paved way for interim skipper KL Rahul into the crease, who instantly hit the ground up-and-running with tactical batting assault on the Australians. He even launched visiting all-rounder Cameron Green for a huge six towards the leg side, which landed outside the stadium in the 35th over of the innings.

Gill, who was batting at 104* on the other hand, was left surprised and his reaction soon went viral across social media.

Both Shubman Gill and KL Rahul are slated to appear in next month’s 2023 World Cup in India. The two cricketers were selected in India’s 15-player squad for the tournament earlier this month by team captain Rohit Sharma and BCCI chief selector Ajit Agarkar.
