In a significant turn of events, all members of Pakistan team have finally received their Indian visas after plenty of drama, and are finally set to leave for India on Wednesday, 27th of September. According to the reports, Pakistan applied for Indian visa on 19th of September and the whole process of approval requires five working days.

However, the issue spiked up when PCB expressed their displeasure to ICC regarding the delay of the visas and there were some serious allegations on India regarding their indifferent treatment for their neighbours.

The issue though is resolved now and Pakistan are scheduled to fly out to Dubai in the early hours of September 27, transit there and will take a flight to Hyderabad where they will play their first warm-up game on 29th of September against New Zealand.

PCB disappointed with visa issue

PCB, however, was unimpressed by the delay in visas for their team, and issued a statement, saying that it is a matter of disappointment that Pakistan had to go through a period of uncertainty ahead of such a major tournament.

Pakistan's first game in the World Cup 2023 is scheduled on 6th of October against Netherlands in the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad and the big-ticket encounter against India will be on 14th of October at Ahmedabad.

Pakistan are coming into this World Cup on a a back of a disappointing Asia Cup campaign and with Naseem Shah, out of the World Cup, Pakistan would have to lift their game up, if they want to lift their second 50-over World Cup title on 19th of November.
