The ongoing Test between Bangladesh and Pakistan is all set to witness a historic feat. Najmul Hossain Shanto and Co are inching closer to winning a Test series for the first time in cricket history.

Pakistan's performance in the Test match has been marred by repeated fumbles, creating a tense and dramatic atmosphere. A prime example of this is what unfolded during the 40th over. The hosts, in a crucial clash, lost back-to-back reviews in a manner that can only be described as foolish.

With the first Test already lost, Shan Masood's Pakistan is under intense scrutiny. The game scenario clearly indicates they are on the brink of another defeat.

In the game, Abrar Ahmed, along with Pakistan, first appealed. However, the umpire wasn't interested, and eventually, the decision was sent upstairs. The UtraEdge showed there was a spike, as the ball was next to the bat, and NOT OUT was displayed on the big screen.

On the very next ball, another appeal for an LBW was made, and Pakistan took the review yet again. Both Sarfaraz Ahmed and Abrar looked confident, however. The replays suggested a spike when the ball was closer to the bat, but there was a visible gap, and the TV umpire decided in favour of Bangladesh as the on-field call was not out.

PAK Vs BAN 2nd Test Hanging In Balance

Earlier in the Test, the Bangla Tigers won the toss and elected to bowl first yet again at Rawalpindi. Pakistan's first attempt to set a big score ended at 272 runs.

Later, Bangladesh found itself in a precarious situation, with the score reading 26/6 at a stage. However, Litton Das turned the knight in shining armour as he rescued his side with his 138 runs. Followed by which, when it came time for Pakistan's second innings, they crumbled yet again and set up an under-par score of just 172 runs.

At the time of writing, Bangladesh are 160/4 with Mushfiqur Rahim and Shakib Al Hasan out in the middle.
