In the ongoing Duleep Trophy match between India A and India D, a heartwarming moment occurred as Sanju Samson unknowingly made a fan's day at the Rural Development Trust Stadium, Anantapur.

In the 52nd over, Tanish Kotian bowled a delivery outside off. Samson used his feet cleverly to get to the pitch of the ball and smoked it straight down the ground for a massive maximum over the long-off region. Samson's mighty six during the match was a moment to remember. As soon as the ball went outside the stadium, a lucky fan managed to catch it. 

The fan's joy was palpable as he clutched the ball, a prized souvenir of Samson's stunning hit. His face lit up with excitement and delight, and he looked in absolute disbelief yet complete with happiness.



Sanju who did not have a good day to remember in the first innings after his cheap dismissal, would hope to keep his feet firm on the ground in order to get his team past the line.

Ricky Bhui's Fighting 85 Not Out Keeps India D's Hopes Alive

India A strengthened their position in the game by dismissing three crucial batters, India D is clearly not out of trouble as they still need 298 runs to emerge victorious. 

Starting the day at 62/1, Ricky Bhui and Yash Dubey established a solid 100-run partnership before Dubey was run out for 37.  Shams Mulani then made a significant impact, claiming the wickets of Devdutt Padikkal and Shreyas Iyer, who was out for 41 just before lunch. 

Ricky Bhui remains unbeaten on 85 from 145 balls, partnering with Sanju Samson as they look to protect the 5th wicket. At the time of writing, India D is at 190-4, with Sanju Samson and Ricky Bhui out in the middle.
