In a recent video released by the Board of Cricket Control in India (BCCI), Team India is seen preparing for the upcoming two-match Test series starting September 19 against Bangladesh in an intense practice session. In the video, all the players are seen putting in extra effort as they sweat it in the nets.

However, a moment that stole the thunder was when Virat Kohli played Rohit Sharma's signature pull shot. Kohli looked absolutely pumped as he smacked a powerful pull in the nets.

The video also features bowlers Jasprit Bumrah, Kuldeep Yadav, Akash Deep, and Mohammad Siraj practicing in the nets as Ravindra Jadeja and Axar Patel are seen batting alongside. It also showcases captain Rohit Sharma and head coach Gautam Gambhir engaging in intense conversations with the team ahead of the highly crucial series from WTC's perspective.

KL Rahul and Pant Eye Test Comeback

The video also features KL Rahul and Rishabh Pant, both making their eagerly awaited returns to the Indian Test squad. The team for the first Test against Bangladesh, announced last week, includes these two-star players. Rahul, who last played in India's first two Tests against England, is back after a period away.

Pant's return is even more special, as his last Test series was against Bangladesh in December 2022 before a serious car accident sidelined him.

Yash Dayal Earns Maiden India Call-Up

As recalled by his father, the moment Rinku Singh hit Yash Dayal for five consecutive sixes in the IPL was a challenging period in his career. However, Dayal's story is nothing short of inspirational. He didn't let this setback deter him. Instead, he remained focused and worked tirelessly.

His perseverance has now paid off with his maiden call-up to the Indian Test squad. This achievement is significant after his strong performances with the Royal Challengers Bangalore in the IPL 2024.
