The Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2024 edition is being dominated by batters as high-scoring games are produced almost everyday now. On Sunday, December 1, Kerala were pitted against Goa in Group E clash at the Rajiv Gandhi Stadium in Hyderabad.

However, due to heavy rainfall, the match was reduced to 13 overs per side. Kerala were batting first, and skipper Sanju Samson came out to open the innings with Rohan Kunnummal. With the game shortened, Samson went all guns blazing from ball one.

In the 4th over, he took on Felix Alemao to slam back-to-back boundaries. After a boundary over long off, Samson hammered a maximum over the deep mid-wicket boundary off the next delivery.
