Andre Russell produced a stellar show on Saturday while playing for London Spirit against Birmingham Phoenix in Match 5 of the Men's Hundred 2024, taking place at the Lord's.

However, he got six extra runs, and it was Liam Livingstone who gifted him that.

Batting on 31* off 19 balls, Russell tried to smash Adam Milne over long-on. However, the timing was not great, and Livingstone, placed right there, was waiting to grab that with ease.

Yet, Livingstone, one of the best fielders at present, made a huge mistake, as his left heel touched the ropes while taking that. Then, he intentionally put his foot on the cushions while returning the ball, and signalled six to the umpire for confirmation.

Riding on Russell's brisk cameo, London Spirit finished with 127/7. In reply, Birmingham are 2/0 after four balls, with Rishi Patel and Aneurin Donald in the middle.
