English cricketer Dan Mousley showcased his incredible fielding skills in Birmingham Phoenix's second group-stage match against London Spirit at the iconic Lord's Cricket Ground. The cricketer grabbed an extraordinary boundary catch to help Sean Abbott dismiss Adam Rossington, leaving the hosts in disarray.

The incident occurred during the fifth set of London Spirit's innings when they had already lost the key wickets of Michael Kyle-Pepper and Daniel Bell-Drummond. 

Sean Abbott emerged as the wrecker-in-chief with the ball for Birmingham, making Rossington his second victim of the game. 

From over the wicket, Abbott bowled a good-length delivery around the leg stump, as Rossington flicked it powerfully towards the square leg. 

However, as the ball gobbled up in the air, Dan Mousley sensed an opportunity of a catch. He ran towards his right and caught the ball cleanly near the square leg boundary. 

As he was losing his balance, Mousley threw the ball backwards before collecting it cleanly inside the playing area with a valiant dive.

Riding on the seamers' onslaught, Birmingham Phoenix have reduced London Spirit to 47 for five at the halfway mark. As of writing, Shimron Hetmyer and Liam Dawson have held the fort, batting on 8* and 9*, respectively.
