Liam Livingstone, one of England’s most-talked-about players from the T20I setup, made headlines on Thursday while representing Lancashire in the Vitality T20 Blast 2024 against Nottinghamshire in Manchester.

The 30-year-old showed off his incredible fielding skills with a wonderful catch, and it was Luke Wood, one of Mumbai Indians stars in IPL 2024, who enjoyed success due to his heroics.

The catch was taken during the third over of Nottinghamshire's innings when Wood bowled a good-length delivery towards the stumps. Haynes tried to smash it over deep square leg, but Livingstone ran quickly to his left before plucking an excellent diving catch.

Livingstone’s reaction showed he could not believe how he managed to take the catch. Of course, T20 Blast’s social media handle could not resist themselves from posting the clip.

Along with the catch, Livingstone smashed a fiery 37-ball 54 not out later in the game. His breezy knock, coupled with Phil Salt's 42-ball 70, helped Lancashire complete an easy 132-run target in just 14.3 overs against Nottinghamshire. They are now second on the points table, with seven wins in 13 matches, only behind Warwickshire.
