Mohammad Amir wreaked havoc on Saturday (July 28) while playing for Vancouver Knights in Match 4 of the Global T20 Canada 2024 at CAA Centre, Brampton, Ontario. The Pakistani pacer cleaned up Muhammad Waseem for a three-ball duck, and it was a lovely delivery which went through the gate in order to send him back to the pavilion.

It was a good length delivery by Amir, and Waseem expected it as a straight one. However, the ball turned back in sharply, resulting in him getting dismissed in a humiliating manner. Amir, as usual, celebrated the success, and rightly so, as he outsmarted the opener with an absolute peach of a delivery.

Eventully, Bangla Tigers Mississauga won the match by 22 runs. They posted 152/7 on the board batting first, and after that, restricted the opposition to 130/6. Bangladesh's Shoriful Islam, in particular, was magnificent with the ball, returning figures of 4-0-12-1, while Shakib Al Hasan had a day to remember, with figures of 3/10 off his four overs.

However, Bangla Tigers did not go up much despite the victory, as they lost to Montreal Tigers by 33 runs in their tournament opener.
