In a must-win match for Pakistan against Canada, the bowlers rose to the occasion for the Babar Azam-led side, as they restricted Canada to 55/5 after 10 overs. 

Shaheen Afridi and Mohammad Amir were among the wickets, but Haris Rauf stole the limelight as he took two wickets in his first over of the match to put Pakistan in the driver's seat.

On the 3rd ball of the 10th over, Rauf got rid of dangerous Shreyas Movya as the ball found an outside edge, and Mohammad Rizwan made no mistake behind the stumps. With the wicket, Rizwan completed 50 T20I catches, while Rauf also scripted history with the wicket.

Notably, the right-arm seamer took his 100th T20I wicket and became the third fastest bowler to do so. Rauf took 71 innings to complete the milestone, only Wanindu Hasaranga and Rashid Khan took fewer innings than him.

However, he is the fastest seamer bowler to have 100 T20I wickets and also left behind the likes of Lasith Malinga, who took 76 innings for the same.

Two deliveries later, Rauf sent Ravinderpal Singh too back to the pavilion for a two-ball duck as Fakhar Zaman took an easy catch standing around first slip.
