Pakistan lost to India in a final over thriller by 6 runs in a 120-run chase at the Nassau County Stadium on June 9. Following the loss, Iftikhar Ahmed liked a tweet criticizing his teammate and all-rounder, Imad Wasim who struggled with the bat.

While bowling first, Pakistan restricted India to 119 in 19 overs, with Naseem Shah and Haris Rauf leading with 3/21 each.

However, while trying to chase down the target, Pakistan struggled to get going as the left-hander came in to bat at 73/3 with Pakistan still in the pole position. The 35-year-old failed to control the chase, went into a shell and was just able to score 15 (23) before getting out in the final over with 18 runs still left.

Pakistan failed to cross the line which followed criticizm for the team on social media. A Twitter user posted a compilation of Wasim's batting as he called it an "Imad Wasim masterclass 15(23) v India"

The explosive Pakistan batter, Iftikhar went on to like that Tweet which was seen by the fans, raising the speculations that all is not well in the Pak dressing room.

Pakistan, who have failed to get any point on the board so far, at the time of writing are playing against Canada, who are being asked to bat first and are 72/5 at the end of 13 overs.

A loss here would mean that Pakistan go home, crashing out from the first round.
