You don’t often see Rashid Khan getting hammered by a batsman in a T20 game, whether it is at the international level or in domestic franchise leagues. However, Deward Brevis, fondly called as Baby AB, did the unthinkable job on Sunday evening while playing for Mumbai Indians against Gujarat Titans in Match 5 of the IPL 2024.

More significantly, the way Brevis stylishly smashed Rashid out of the park showed how much confident he was while facing arguably the most dangerous T20 bowler in the world.

Coming in as an impact sub, Brevis started playing aggressively from the get-go during Hardik Pandya & Co.’s 169-run chase. He did not show any respect to Rashid, who bowled a fullish delivery outside the off stump.
