The foremost tournament of Indian domestic cricket has reached its knockout stage, and Karnataka are taking on Vidarbha in the first Quarterfinal. Vidarbha were going solid with a 184-run stand for the second wicket until Nikin Jose pulled off a stunner, and Yash Rathod had to walk back to the pavilion.

Karnataka and Vidarbha, both are prominent teams in Indian domestic cricket and have been quite consistent with their performances in the domestic tournaments. Vidarbha are off to a great start with over 200 runs for just two wickets and are looking for a huge first innings total.

On the other hand, Karnataka were looking for a breakthrough and Vidwath Kaverappa provided the much-need punch with the help of Nikin Jose's amazing catch, as he flew towards his left and took a diving catch.  


The fans are all aware of Nikin Jose's fielding brilliance as he took a few stunners in the ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup 2023. Yet again, he showcased his catching skills and helped his team get a crucial breakthrough in the form of Yash Rathod, who was playing beautifully and was inching towards a century. 

The Vidarbha team are still in a comfortable position as Atharva Taide is unbeaten on 88 and the experienced Karun Nair has joined him after the dismissal of Yash Rathod, who scored 93. Skipper Mayank Agarwal will look to capitalise on the last session and get his bowlers to pick as many wickets as they can to come out on top.
