The stage is set for the opening game of the Women's Premier League 2024 at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. The Indian Bollywood giant, Shahrukh Khan paid a visit last night to wish luck to all the players from round the globe and the former Australian captain, Meg Lanning was snapped learning Shahrukh's signature pose from the man himself. 

With Banglore and Delhi being the announced venues for the WPL season 2, Meg Lanning-led Delhi Capitals and Harmanpreet Kaur-led Mumbai Indians will be taking on each other in the opening game at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in just a few hours from now. 

Ahead of the first opening game, Meg Lanning was snapped having a good time with the popular Bollywood actor, Shahrukh Khan, who paid a visit to the stadium and wished luck to all the players for the tournament.

Meg Lanning, who bid farewell to international cricket last year, is nothing short of a legend of the game. Not only she has contributed with the bat for the Australian team but she has also led the team to several ICC titles, which makes her the best captain in the history of women's cricket. 

With Shahrukh Khan being the legend of Bollywood and being known for his expertise in the whole world, Meg Lanning lived the dream of doing the signature SRK pose with the man himself, who was very happy teaching her the same. 

Along with Delhi Capitals, Shahrukh also met the Mumbai Indians team, which was nothing short of a great gesture from his side to wish all the players well.
