Indian pacer Mohammed Siraj, who had been released from playing in the first round of the Duleep Trophy 2024 due to illness, was seen relaxing at the boundary during the ongoing match between India A and India B. The match, held at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on September 5, saw Siraj waving at the camera and sharing a light moment with fellow cricketer Avesh Khan.

Despite not being part of the the team, Mohammed Siraj was present near the boundary, casually chatting with Avesh Khan.

The pacer, part of the India B squad led by Abhimanyu Easwaran, was seen with his kit, raising speculations that he had just returned from the National Cricket Academy, located in Bengaluru.

Recently, Siraj shared a video of himself working out in the gym after his release from the Duleep Trophy. The star pacer last played in the ODI series against Sri Lanka, where he took three wickets in three innings, with an economy rate of 6.28.

India A and India B: Early Match Highlights

Talking about the match, the match itself saw India B being put to bat first. They lost two early wickets, with captain Abhimanyu Easwaran dismissed for 13 runs by Avesh Khan. Star pacer Khaleel Ahmed later removed the rising talent, Yashasvi Jaiswal. 

At the time of writing, India B stood at 65 for 2 in 30 overs, with Musheer Khan and Sarfraz Khan at the crease, holding steady against a competitive bowling attack.
