Virat Kohli's popularity is second to none in world cricket and wherever he goes, there are people supporting him. He is known more for his batting, but the fascination of fans to see him bowl is not less either.
The chants of 'Kohli ko bowling do' (give kohli a chance to bowl) caught lot of eyeballs during the World Cup 2023, and now in the first ODI between India and Sri Lanka, there were same chants at the R. Premadasa Stadium when India were bowling first after losing the toss.
In a video released by Bharat Army, on their official X handle, Indian fans are seen rooting for Kohli to bowl with Dhol adding to the flavour of the occasion.

Dunith Wellalage Fights For Sri Lanka
Talking about the match, Sri Lanka won the toss and decided to bat first. However, they kept losing wickets at regular intervals with only Pathum Nissanka holding fort in the first half of the innings. He scored fifty, but Sri Lanka were reduced to 142-6 at one point in time. They looked down and out but Dunith Wellalage batted brilliantly and scored unbeaten 67 which took Sri Lanka to a respectable total of 230.
