'Beating Yellow-Jersey Team..'- Did RCB Take An Indirect Dig At CSK?

It is a great day for sports lovers, as India are dominating against Sri Lanka in the ongoing first ODI, while the Indian hockey team too scripted a historic feat as they beat Australia in the ongoing Olympics 2024 group stage match.

It was after 52 years that India beat Australia in an Olympic game. Several personalities across sports took to social media platforms to congratulate the Indian hockey team.

Meanwhile, RCB's official Twitter handle too posted a message for the hockey team, but that tweet did not go well with CSK fans. 

"Beating yellow-jersey teams hits differently. Quarter-finals, here we come." 

The fans assumed it to be an indirect dig at the CSK fans, as the two IPL teams share a great history. The two teams have locked horns against each other 32-times, where CSK won on 21 occasions and RCB just 10 times. 

However, the RCB official page hinted at India's recent win over Australia at the T20 World Cup 2024, where the Men in Blue avenged their 2023 World Cup final defeat. 

Talking about the ongoing first ODI between India and Sri Lanka, then the Men in Blue have got off to an electrifying start and at the time of writing this article, India are 55/0 after 6 overs.
