KL Rahul is back in Test cricket and is back with a bang. He has delivered for India in one of their toughest challenges with a fifty against mighty Proteas with team in all sorts of trouble. He walked out to bat at number 6 and though wickets fell in quick succession around him, he has stood firm with his class and elegance.

India were reduced to 121-6 at one point in time, but KL Rahul did not let the pressure get to him and build a solid stand with Shardul Thakur. Shardul departed on 24 but KL Rahul kept going and has got to his fifty as well.

The shot that took him to his fifty displayed his class and talent, as he hit an effortless six against Nandre Burger just like he did some overs back against Marco Jansen.

It was a full delivery, outside off. KL Rahul went through his drive full-fledged and opened the face of his bat as well, as the ball sailed over deep backward point for a maximum. India though are still in trouble and KL need to bat as long as possible to take India to a decent first innings total.
