Shreyas Iyer has been in great form in recent times, he was one of India's star performer in the 2023 World Cup and has now started quite well in Test cricket too. In the Boxing Day Test match at Centurion against South Africa, India were rocked early with three wickets down on just 24. However, Shreyas joined Kohli and the two batted quite sensibly to take India out of the rut.

Shreyas Iyer who is naturally an aggressive player did not shy away from playing his shots whenever he got an opportunity. He slammed some wonderful fours during his knock but it was his six against Gerald Coetzee that grabbed the limelight.

It was a full delivery angling into the pads and Shreyas Iyer flicked it with great power over deep square leg for a maximum. The ball went sailing into the crowd much to the surprise of everyone and it looked like he would go on and get a big score.

However, he was cleaned up by Rabada just after the Lunch on 31 off 50 balls but he did bat well and has taken India to a comparatively better position.
