Kagiso Rabada Completes 500 International Wickets With Clinical Fifer In Centurion Test

In a remarkable achievement, ace South African pacer Kagiso Rabada has completed 500 wickets in international cricket. The veteran speedster unlocked the milestone during the ongoing Test match against India in Centurion. He became the seventh South African bowler to claim 500 international wickets in this process.

After opting to bowl first, South Africa had a great start, with Rabada removing Indian captain Rohit Sharma with a sharp bumper in the fifth over. 

He proved his worth in a crucial time by dismissing Shreyas Iyer right after lunch, breaking his crucial 68-run stand with Virat Kohli. As if this wasn't enough, the Proteas spearhead got rid of Ravichandran Ashwin and Shardul Thakur, preventing KL Rahul from getting support at the other end. 

Riding on Rabada's exceptional spell, South Africa have reduced India to 176 for 7 in 50 overs, with Rahul and Bumrah unbeaten on 39* and 0*, respectively, at tea on day 1.
