In the ongoing first Test between India and Bangladesh at the Chepauk Stadium in Chennai, Jasprit Bumrah missed out on a well-deserving five-wicket haul as he registered four wickets to stun the visitors. 

A lot occurred on day 2 of the ongoing match as Bangladesh took four quick wickets in the first session to end India's innings for 376 runs. In reply, Bangladesh lost five wickets for just 40 runs. Litton Das and Shakib Al Hasan stitched a crucial 51-run stand, but since then, it was all Jasprit Bumrah's show. 

Bumrah took four wickets in the match which included the crucial scalps of Shadman Islam, Mushfiqur Rahim, Hasan Mahmud and Taskin Ahmed. Out of all the four wickets, Bumrah made it to the news for the magical ball he bowled to Taskin Ahmed. 

It was a magical delivery as Bumrah bowled a peach of a yorker on the 4th ball of the 43d over to stun Taskin Ahmed. It was a typical Bumrah yorker to which the batsman had no answer. After the wicket, Bumrah also burst into laughter realising the special delivery he just bowled. 


Jasprit Bumrah Completes 400 International Wickets

It was special day for Bumrah as he also completed 400 international wickets in this innings. After the wicket of Bangladesh seamer, Hasan Mahmud, Bumrah became the sixth-Indian pacer to bag 400 wickets in international cricket. Hasan, who bagged a fifer in the first innings for Bangladesh, became Bumrah’s 400th victim on a peach of a delivery.

Apart from Bumrah, the other Indian seamers to take 400 international wickets are  Kapil Dev, Javagal Srinath, Zaheer Khan, Mohammed Shami, and Ishant Sharma. However, Bumrah is the quickest of them all having completed the feat in just 196 games.
