[Watch] Jasprit Bumrah 'Outfoxes' Steve Smith With A Magical Delivery

Riding on Jasprit Bumrah's sensational opening spell, India got off to a flying start to the second half of the ongoing World Cup final against Australia in Ahmedabad. Although the ace speedster looked scratchy in the first few deliveries, he bounced back remarkably by dismissing Mitchell Marsh and Smith in quick succession. With this, he completed 350 dismissals in international cricket. 

After posting 240 on the board, India had a great start with the ball, as Mohammed Shami removed David Warner in the second over. Bumrah followed the trend soon, as he got rid of Mitchell Marsh, who was looking good in the middle. However, the wicket of Smith was like icing on the cake, as it pushed Australia on the back foot. 

Bumrah bowled a good length delivery, which nipped back into Smith to strike him on his back pad. As soon as the ball hit his pads, the Indians appealed, with the umpire declaring the batter out. However, in replay, it was seen that the impact was outside. So, had Smith sent it to upstairs, he would've got a lifeline. 

After Smith's departure, Marnus Labuschagne joined the middle to steady the ship alongside Travis Head. As of writing, Australia are 60 for three in 10 overs, with Head and Labuschagne batting on 19* and 0*, respectively.
