Mohammed Siraj stole the hearts of fans during the high-stakes clash between India and Pakistan in the 13th match of the T20 World Cup 2024 in New York. The incident that quickly went viral showcased the camaraderie between the arch-rivals.

During Pakistan's innings, after India set a target of 120, Pakistan opener Mohammad Rizwan was at the crease. The memorable moment occurred in the 2nd over of the match when Siraj bowled and unintentionally hit Rizwan with a direct throw.

Rizwan pushed a length ball slightly outside off back to Siraj, who then had a shy at the stumps. Rizwan, diving to get back into the crease, was struck on the right elbow. The ball rolled into the fine leg region, allowing the batters to take a run.
