Pakistan skipper Babar Azam was seen struggling against India in the 13th T20 World Cup 2024 match at the Nassau County Stadium on June 9.

India posted a respectable target of 120 against the arch-rivals. With Pakistan bowling them out, they envisioned a great start. However, it was India's turn to turn the tide in their favour as Jasprit Bumrah removed Babar Azam in the powerplay.

The incident occurred in the 5th over when Bumrah, bowling over the wicket, delivered a good length ball in the channel outside the off stump. Babar attempted to play the shot but was late in dragging the bat back.

He got an outside edge that flew to the left of Suryakumar Yadav, who dived to grab it inches above the turf. The third umpire checked the catch, confirming that Suryakumar managed to get his fingers underneath the ball. Babar had to depart, scoring 19 runs off 10 balls.

India got the opening they wanted for so long. Meanwhile, Pakistan were seen under pressure, currently at 49 for 1 in 9 overs
