Ravindra Jadeja has experienced inconsistent form in ICC events, and this trend continued in the 13th match of the T20 World Cup 2024 at newly constructed Nassau County Stadium on Sunday (June 9).

Pakistan's skipper Babar Azam won the toss and opted to bowl first, quickly reducing India to regular wicket losses. Indian star Rishabh Pant attempted to stabilize the innings with a solid knock but was eventually dismissed by Mohammad Amir.

Later, Ravindra Jadeja came to the crease at the 8th spot, replacing Rishabh Pant. However, Jadeja's innings were cut short for a golden duck as Mohammad Amir claimed his second wicket of the day in New York.

Jadeja played a poor shot straight to the fielder Imad Wasim at cover. The delivery was over the wicket, a good length ball pitched on the off stump.

The 35-year-old veteran slightly on the front foot, looking to play with a straight bat, failed to control the stroke and chipped it uppishly straight to Imad Wasim at cover.

At the time of writing, India were bowled out at 119, setting a respectable target for Men In Green.
