The start of the high-octane India-Pakistan clash in T20 World Cup 2024 was delayed due to rain, but when it started, Pakistan bowlers were upto the task and bundled out India for just 119.

It was an arm ball from Axar Patel on middle and leg and Usman Khan tried to work it towards the leg side. He missed the ball, and the ball hit him on the pads.

A big appeal followed, but the umpire was not interested and Axar Patel also felt that it was going down leg. However, Rishabh Pant behind the stumps was very confident and he forced Rohit Sharma to take DRS. As the Ball Tracking rolled in, it showed three reds, and the decision was overturned.

That wicket triggered a bit of collapse and Pakistan from 57-1, were reduced to 80-4 with Hardik Pandya and Jasprit Bumrah getting rid of Fakhar Zaman and Mohammed Rizwan respectively to bring India right back in the game.
