Naseem Shah is turning on the heat in the high-octane T20 World Cup 2024 encounter against India with a crucial breakthroughs. He first got the wicket of Virat Kohli and then got the better of Axar Patel and Shivam Dube to put India in all sorts of trouble.

The right-arm pacer used the two-paced nature of the pitch to a great effect. The ball was stopping a bit off the deck and that proved to be detrimental in wickets of both Virat Kohli and Shivam Dube. 

The wicket of Dube, especially was a classic example of it as Naseem Shah bowled a pacy length delivery on the middle stump line. The left-handed batter tried to defend it, but the ball came late and he looped up in the air off his bat back to the bowler.

Naseem Shah took an easy catch and after the wicket of Dube, Mohammad Amir joined the party with two quick wickets as India were reduced to 96-7 in the 15th over. 

Earlier, start of the play was delayed due to rain after Pakistan won the toss and decided to bowl first, and it would be interesting to see how they go about their business with the bat, after losing to USA in their opening encounter.
