In an interesting scenario, a dragonfly attacked Jayden Seales on Friday (August 16) during the West Indies’ second and final Test match against South Africa at Providence Stadium, Guyana.

Seales, who earlier made a significant impact with the ball, began his run-up to bowl a delivery against one of the South African openers. Then, the attack from a dragonfly came, and Seales was absolutely disturbed to see it interrupting before he even released the ball.

The West Indian pacer stopped right after, and the umpire signalled a dead ball to confirm it.

WI Vs SA 2nd Test: Match So Far

Talking about the game, the West Indies, after bundling out South Africa for 160, were bowled out for 144 in the first innings. South Africa, at this moment, have raced to 74/0, taking the lead to 90 runs.

Both Aiden Markram and Tony de Zorzi seem very comfortable in the middle, while Seales, as well as last innings hero Shamar Joseph, have been struggling to get the much-required breakthrough.

Notably, only the second session of Day 2 of the Test match is going on.
