Shamar Joseph is the next big thing in West Indian cricket. The tearaway pacer announced his arrival with a breath-taking spell against Australia in Gabba, and since then, hasn't looked back.

After a decent outing against England last month, Joseph played his first home Test series (against South Africa), and didn't disappoint at all. In the ongoing second Test match between the two nations, the right-armer showcased his class and ripped through the Proteas lineup to give advantage to his side.

Joseph runs riot as Proteas crumble against him

He started his spell with the double wicket over of Aiden Markram and captain Temba Bavuma. The ball to dismiss Markram was a thing of beauty, as the Proteas batter was knocked over by an in-swinging delivery.

After the early burst, Joseph picked up the wickets of well set David Bedingham and Kyle Verreynne to setup the things perfectly for the Windies. He put the final nail in the coffin by castling Keshav Maharaj with another beauty of a delivery as the batter was left shell-shocked.

He was too hot to handle and finished the innings with 5/33 inside 14 overs as South Africa were bowled out for a paltry 160.

In reply, West Indies have already lost 3 wickets, and just like South Africa are struggling for runs.
