Social media cooked up a wild crossover between cricket and football when an 'X' user claimed that football legend Cristiano Ronaldo had MS Dhoni's no.7 jersey on his wall, thus boasting the former Indian captain's craze across the globe.

Cristiano Ronaldo, born and raised in Portugal, is a living soccer legend. He holds the title of having the most goals scored in the international scene, and his professional career has spread over two decades, during which he achieved numerous titles and glory in club leagues.

On the other hand, MS Dhoni is a legendary Indian captain who led his country to three ICC trophies. He owns a mass following in India despite retiring from the sport in 2020.  And the no. 7, Dhoni's jersey number, also holds a separate fan base.

Having said that, a few days ago, Cristiano Ronaldo shared a video from his home on social media, but the background frames caught Indian fans' attention.

An 'X' user claimed that the yellow jersey frame on Ronaldo's wall with the no. 7 printed on it actually belonged to MS Dhoni. The user linked it to Dhoni's CSK jersey, which is also yellow.

Cristiano Ronaldo's Yellow Jersey Is Al-Nassr's

However, the claim is untrue. Cristiano Ronaldo wore No. 7 for a large part of his career. He started at Manchester United with no. 7 but had to shift to no. 9 in Real Madrid. However, Ronaldo got back his No. 7 in Madrid, and since then, he hasn't changed it.

As far as the framed jersey is concerned, the yellow jersey belongs to Cristiano Ronaldo, as he is now an Al-Nassr player. Al-Nassr's jersey is yellow in colour as Ronaldo signed up for the Saudi Pro League in 2023 for a hefty salary.
