The Hundred Women's final between Welsh Fire Women and London Spirit Women is underway at Lord's. The Spirit won the toss and asked the Fire to bat first. The decision did wonders as the Tammy Beaumont-led side have already lost three wickets for less than 50 runs on the board.

Tara Norris drew the first blood for London, but it was Deepti Sharma who stole the limelight for her low-diving catch. On the last ball of the 3rd set, Norris pitched a full delivery to Sophia Dunkley, who looked to dispatch it for a boundary but found a top edge. Deepti had to adjust herself and eventually dived to her right to take a stunning low-diving catch.

At the time of writing this article, Welsh are looking to stitch a crucial fourth wicket partnership and have amassed 65 runs in 64 balls.

It is worth noting that The Hundred Women will get a new champion as both London Spirit and Welsh Fire have reached the finals for the first time in this tournament's history.
