The fourth T20I between Bangladesh and Zimbabwe witnessed a hilarious moment when the Zimbabwe fielders' comedy of errors earned Mustafizur Rahman a lifeline.

The incident occurred during the final over of Bangladesh's innings when they were reeling at 139 for nine, with Mustafizur and Tanvir Islam unbeaten in the middle.

After conceding a single off his first ball, Zimbabwe's Blessing Muzarabani bowled a short-of-good-length delivery, which Tanvir pushed gently in the off side.

There was a lack of communication between the players while going for a risky single, creating an opportunity for a runout for the visiting side.

However, Muzarabani missed the stumps at the striker's end, with Mustafizur surviving a runout.

As the ball travelled towards the fine leg boundary, the fielder collected and threw it when Rahman was well short of his crease at the non-striker's end.

However, the fielder committed a childish error again, failing to dislodge the bails in time despite having ample time to do it.

Thus, Mustafizur, who recently left CSK for national duty, survived two runouts inside a single delivery, creating scope for laughter for the home fans.

Meanwhile, chasing a modest 144-run target, Zimbabwe were 26 for one in 3.1 overs, with T Marumani and Sikandar Raza unbeaten in the middle.
