Bangladesh captain Najmul Hossain Shanto sustained his poor T20I run as he dismissed cheaply in the third game of the ongoing home series against Zimbabwe.

Coming at number three, Shanto could score only six runs before Sikandar Raza castled him with an absolute peach.

The incident occurred during the fifth over of Bangladesh's innings when they had already lost the prized scalp of Litton Das off Blessing Muzarabani's bowling.

After conceding six runs, including a boundary, off his first three balls, Raza came around the wicket and bowled a beautiful delivery that came into Shanto with the angle after pitching around the fifth stump line.

While defending the ball, Shanto was comprehensively beaten, with the ball shattering his off stump.

This was Shanto's third straight poor outing with the bat. Overall, he has managed only 43 runs in the series at an abysmal average of just over 14.

However, despite losing two of their best top-order batters early, Bangladesh made a remarkable comeback, riding on scintillating knocks from Towhid Hridoy and Jaker Ali.

Chasing 166, Zimbabwe had a batting collapse yet again, with Mohammed Saifuddin and Rishad Hossain claiming two wickets each. As of writing, the visitors were reeling at 130 for eight in 17 overs.
