Hardik Pandya To Drop These 'Two' Players? Mumbai Indians Probable XI For IPL 2024 Match vs KKR

Mumbai Indians became the first team to be eliminated from the IPL 2024 playoffs race but if there's one thing they are still playing for its to not finish at the bottom of the IPL points table. While they did lose 8 games out if the 12 games they've played, they did end up winning their most recent clash against SunRisers Hyderabad by 7 wickets.

Hardik Pandya won the toss and opted to field first at Hyderabad and the bowlers successfully restricted SRH for 174 runs. Jasprit Bumrah and debutant Anshul Kamboj produced a good performance and then Piyush Chawla and Hardik Pandya broke partnerships constantly making it difficult for Pat Cummins and Co to put up a big score.

Then while chasing it, MI's top order faltered once again, Ishan Kishan was the first to depart followed by former skipper Rohit Sharma and then Naman Dhir who departed for a 9-ball duck. Then came Suryakumar Yadav and Tilak Varma who together stitched up a 137 run partnership after SKY registered his first IPL 2024 century, thereby taking MI to a victory after a very long time.

Going forward in the game against KKR, they would look to have a good batting line up considering the destructive batting power that the Knights possess. Hence, they might consider dropping Naman Dhir for this one considering his performance so far and bring in Nehal Wadhera in the starting XI. They might also drop Nuwan Thushara who hasn't made too much of an impact for the Hardik Pandya led franchise, in his place Gerald Coetzee will come back.
