On Saturday, Kolkata Knight Riders will cross swords against Mumbai Indians in match 60 of the ongoing Indian Premier League season. The high-octane clash is scheduled at the iconic Eden Gardens in Kolkata.

On the other hand, Mumbai Indians have had a forgettable IPL 2024 campaign under Hardik Pandya's leadership. Their lacklustre performance is well-reflected in their position in the points table, where they reel at eighth with four wins in twelve matches. 

While MI openers Ishan Kishan and Rohit Sharma have failed to give them solid starts, Suryakumar Yadav has been their lone-warrior, getting ample support from Tilak Varma. 

Finisher Tim David has shown glimpses of his big-hitting ability, but he is yet to work a lot to win matches on his own. 

On the bowling front, Jasprit Bumrah has been head and shoulders above his colleagues, who haven't really lived up to the potential. So, as they are already out of the playoffs race, MI would play for their pride with a nothing to lose attitude.
